Chateau De Nazelles Amboise - Nazelles-Negron

Fine valley views made mornings magical.

We encountered several ant and spider guests in our room, and this was certainly off-putting. The Wi-Fi barely reached our room, frustrating . The trek back from Amboise is a significant hassle without a car. Having to arrange for rides really dampened the excitement of exploring the town.

Our room was unique and quiet and it came with good shower, the old bathtub, for instance

There was a bug.

The units were reasonably large and modern with the ' caved in ' bathroom. They offer an electric kettle and central heating. The hotel is in the central location tricky in the walled garden. The staff are helpful and extremely friendly, and the owner too.

Charming garden area, but the Wi-Fi barely worked .

the restaurant here was nice for dinner, we both ordered outstanding dishes. it had extremely comfy bed, exposed beams. the staff was supper friendly as we expected. the location was great, within short walking distance to old town.

The room was well decorated, elegant and with the ' caved in ' bathroom. The morning meal was delicious and marvellous with local cheeses, locally produced organic products and fresh juice.

The trek to reach town can be quite bothersome without a car!!! The parking situation in the walled garden is nothing short of a challenge for larger vehicles!!! Improvements are definitely necessary!!!

What stands out, both good and bad

The fine valley views and the refreshing pool. The attentive and friendly staff were pretty good too create nice experiences.

The steep stairs posed a challenge , and the occasional noise from other guests interrupted the tranquil atmosphere.

The unique cave-like feel of our room kept us cool. The pool carved into the cliff was lovely. Veronique even reserved a hot air balloon ride for us!

The garden spaces were very nice for enjoying our evening wine, and we loved waking up to a amazing sunrise view of hot air balloons in the distance.

We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, as it rarely worked in our room, a bit frustrating.

The grounds at Chateau de Nazelles offer fine views, especially at sunrise. The bathroom layout in our room lacked privacy, made things awkward .

The breakfast was good, with fresh local produce and homemade offerings. Veronique's warm hospitality. The views of the valley, especially at sunrise, were amazing.

None to mention.

We stayed in the Superior Double Room, Castle and it was super comfy! The bed was really spacious, and the bathroom was roomy and modern. The views from the windows were amazing, especially at sunrise with the hot air balloons in the distance. The unique cave-like feel was special and definitely helped keep the room cool. One thing to note is that the room could use a bit more charm in the decor, but it didn't take away from our stay at all!
